Cosmetic Dentistry Spring Branch
Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of a person’s teeth, mouth and smile. Cosmetic dentistry provides elective – or desired – treatments or services. For example, dental fillings, originally composed of darker colored materials, are now available in materials that can be matched to the color of teeth.
Cosmetic dentistry covers a broad variety of treatments. Inlays and onlays are designed to provide a cosmetic way to repair damage from tooth decay. They are commonly made of porcelain or composite materials in order to match the color of teeth.
Dental Implants are used as part of a process to substitute missing teeth.
With artificial replacements. The implant is an artificial tooth root to which artificial teeth are attached, resulting in a smile that often looks more natural than traditional dentures.
Composite Bonding
Is a procedure that repairs the appearance of chipped, broken, discolored, or decayed teeth. As with inlays and onlays, composite bonding material is designed to match the natural color of teeth.
Teeth Whitening
Is used to improve a person’s smile by reversing staining from smoking, food, drinks, or poor oral hygiene. Whitening is the most commonly recommended procedure in cosmetic dentistry.
Dental Veneers
Are composite or porcelain laminates that are bonded to the front of teeth if whitening is unsuccessful or if there are gaps between teeth.
